SOUTH KOREA AND TURKEY IN FREE TRADE AGREEMENT
South Korea and Turkey will seek to complement their bilateral free trade agreement (FTA) with fresh agreements in the service and investment sectors, the Seoul government said.
A new round of talks for free trade deals in the two areas will be held in Ankara for two days starting from Wednesday, according to the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy.
Seoul and Ankara implemented their bilateral FTA in May, but the agreement currently deals only with products.
"The government believes the cooperative relationship between the two countries will deepen when new agreements on service and investment sectors are signed," the statement read.
